PART - 2

Today was Khushi's mahendi. She was wearing a red lehenga, looking extremely beautiful.  She was sitting in the middle with girls surrounding her, teasing her making her to glow in red colour.  Garima felt happy seeing her baby girl happy but sad too thinking from tomorrow she would be in her sasural. She wipe her tears and hugged Khushi. Khushi too became emotional seeing her Amma.
While mehendi lady was applying mahendi on her hands and feet, she was blushing thinking about Arnav. One of her cousin teased her saying "Oh Khushi don't blush to much save it for your tomorrow's Suhaag Raat too as Arnav Jijaji was surely very eager for the Suhaag Raat"
Khushi's cheek became red hearing this.

Khushi had been shocked to see the short and completely backless choli with the deep neck in the front in today morning. From that time her cousins had teased her to no end saying "May be there was shortage of Cloth for the Choli. At least Jijaji got a Choli made."
Khushi was almost melted with embarrassment. Everyone is teasing me so much. She just wanted to hide herself somewhere.

Mehendi lady - What's the groom's name? It needs to be drawn in your Mehendi
 Khushi (shyly) - Arnav (blushing crazily)
The Mehendi Lady smiled and wrote 'ARNAV' on Khushi's palm.
They were applying mehendi and all started to tease her. Khushi escaped from their teasing excusing herself and went to her room. She was blushing hard thinking seeing the diamond ring which Arnav put on her ring finger.
She was always attracted towards him when she saw his photo in a magazine before 3 years. Then she did not miss his any interview, articles, and pictures of him. He made her swoon time to time. She knew his favorite food, habits etc in a word she had researched on him. She knew his one night stands and Casanova image from the newspaper. But she could not help but attracted towards his dark persona. She knew she could never reach to the star like ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA but could not help herself from trying to reach it. The main reason of her graduating in Fashion Designing is ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA and joining A.R FASHION HOUSE. 

Flashback  Start

Before 2 months ago when she and her Amma was about leave from Devi Miya's temple, she saw an elderly lady was about to slip from the stairs. She ran to the lady and held her. She and her Amma helped the lady.
Lady - Thank you Beta for saving me
Khushi - Nani why are you thanking me ... it's my duty ... By the way I'm Khushi and she is my Amma (pointing Garima)
Garima - Namaste
Nani - hum Devyani hai
Garima - Devyani ji our house is nearby ... let's go there and take some rest
Nani - Not today ... some other day I'll come ... Today my grandson will return from London after 2 months ... I have to go home ... Bye Khushi Bitya
Khushi - Bye Nani

Her thoughts were broken by a knock at the door. She saw her Amma coming with her dinner. Garima sat her and started feeding her. After feeding, she asked Khushi
Garima - Khushi, are you happy with this sudden marriage ?
Khushi - I'm so much happy
Garima - But I forced you to agree this proposal
Khushi - Amma, apko Khushi ko koi force nahi kar sakta ... I agreed for this proposal with my own will

Flashback  Start

One week before when Khushi returned from college her Amma told her Nani asked Khushi's hand from her grandson
Khushi - Amma , I'm just 19
Amma - So what I was 16 when I married to your babu ji
Khushi - But Amma
Amma - No but ... I want you say YES' for this proposal
Khushi -  But Amma you can't force me

Amma - You know your Bua ji is continuously asking your hand for  her son Shyam. Shyam being the only son of jiji , he was raised with lots of pampering. He didnt even completed his schooling coz of his bad behaviour. Yet jiji pampers him. You know Shyam has a bad eye on you. I heard from Deyani ji's grandson is no.1 richiest person and Business Tycoon in Asia, Arnav Singh Raizada. I know if you agree for this proposal, you will save from this proposal.
Khushi's heart was doing happy dance hearing her marriage proposal came from her prince charming Arnav Singh Raizada. She immediately agreed for this proposal.
Khushi - Amma I agree for this proposal
Garima - Thank you Beta

Flashback end

Garima saw Khushi's hands
 Garima - I think it was dried ... Come I will help to remove it (Garima removed the mehendi ) wow Khushi  it was so dark, Damad ji  will love you more ... Now sleep tomorrow will be hectic day
She kissed Khushi's forehead and left from there.  Khushi looked at her hands filled with beautifully decorated mehndi and with the letter 'ARNAV' adorned in the middle of her palm.

She closed the door. She went to bed and took out Arnav's photo under her pillow and started talking.

Khushi - I know Arnav ji  you attract towards me (remembering how he was staring at her with so much intensity that she couldn't help but melt under his gaze when he had come here with his Nani to see her) Arnavji, I'm completely smitten by you that day. One thing is sure  YOU ARE ONLY MINE ... I will never let any Chudail anywhere near you ... If any one come, I will kill her ... YOU ARE JUST ONLY MINE ... I just want tonight to pass quickly, and then I will not let you be away from me
She kissed the picture on Arnav's cheek leaving a bright red lipstick mark and smiled. She fell in to sleep holding Arnav's photo to her heart.
